Earlier this month, DNV GL hosted a three-day customer seminar on wind farm certification in Paris for the first time after the merger. Peter van der Wielen, senior consultant power cables at DNV GL, received the Hidde Nijland prize 2014 during an award ceremony at the Technical University of Delft, the Netherlands, on 7 November 2014. Every four years the Dr. Ir. H.A. Hidde Nijland Foundation awards a prize to a person who (exceptionally) contributed to the science of electricity.
