A simple toolbox has been developed for wind farm control optimization based on “LongSim” and the “fatigue loads database” which takes account of:
- Spatial and temporal wind field variations.
- Wake effects.
- Detailed turbine dynamic response.
The toolbox is a first step allowing the offer of wind farm control design and optimization services:
- Optimized sector management strategies.
- Optimal response to externally-imposed output constraints.
