Hamburg Offshore Wind 2019

CONFERENCE AGENDA

Venue
Empire Riverside Hotel
Bernhard-Nocht-Straße 97
20359 Hamburg, Germany

Conference
from 2 April 2019, 5.00 p.m.
until 3 April 2019, 5.00 p.m.
Registration starts at 5.00 p.m.

Offshore wind power is an important element of the renewable energy mix, without which climate protection and a sustainable energy supply cannot be guaranteed. As a result of the low tender results, it would have been urgently necessary to improve the framework conditions for offshore wind energy in the recently passed "Energiesammelgesetz". Since the Grand Coalition has declared its support for offshore wind energy in its coalition agreement, this must be realised in 2019, and security of investment for the industry must be ensured.

Dr Simone Peter President, German Renewable Energy Federation (BEE)

    Innovation Hub offshore wind

Offshore wind energy would not be possible without ideas and innovations. One could not imagine the impressive development of the last ten years without the inventiveness of offshore pioneers.

Right now, the industry needs new developments more than ever before. DNV GL and the Renewable Energy Hamburg cluster will award new offshore concepts during the HOW 2019 conference. Fields of application might be the development of turbines, installation or maintenance. READ MORE (information will follow).

Please apply now and present your brief concept live at HOW 2019! We will elect the winner after their successful performance. We are looking forward to your application!
