Since 2009 Holger Matthiesen has been working within the E.ON Group. From 2009-2011 he had been working for E.ON Gas Storage in Essen in the Management Position for Subsurface Engineering of Underground Gas and Energy Storages. Since 2012 he has been working for E.ON Climate & Renewables, Hamburg in different Management Positions within the Offshore Wind Business Unit (Germany, Denmark, Sweden) and as Project Director for the Offshore Windfarm Arkona. Currently he is also acting as Managing Director of E.ON Climate & Renewables Services.
Before joining E.ON he was working for Winterhall AG (part of BASF Group) from 2000-2009 in several Expert and Management Positions within Oil and Gas Exploration and Production and assignments to Libya, Russia and the Netherlands. He holds a Diploma in Geology and Geophysics from technical University Aachen, Germany, a Ingenieur diplomé from IFP School Paris, France and an Executive MBA from University of Applied Science Bremen, Germany. Holger Matthiesen is married and has a daughter and a son.
