(Technology) Trends in energy financing

Trends in investing in energy infrastructure

'Investing in Energy' breakfast session by DNV GL

Join our breakfast session ‘(Technology) Trends in Energy Financing’ and informal networking at restaurant Che Buono in Amsterdam on 29 October 2019, from 08:00 AM to 10:15 AM.

(TECHNOLOGY) TRENDS IN ENERGY FINANCING
The finance community has acquired a good understanding of the opportunities and risks involved in the energy industry over decades. This understanding is being challenged as an energy transition involving a substantial shift in the status quo will present a new range of opportunities and risks. What are the latest (technology) trends and insights in energy infrastructure financing?

BREAKFAST SESSION
Following previously organized energy breakfast events, in this session DNV GL, with contributions from Water Wheel Green Securities and Alliander, will present you the latest trends and developments affecting financing of energy infrastructure projects. Of course, there is plenty of room for questions and interaction with experts.

PROGRAM
Today we will try to answer the questions mentioned above.

  • Huibert Baud (manager strategy & innovation) from Alliander will share their approach to renewable energy developers to help them circumnavigate around the grid connection challenges. And provide possible solutions.
  • Joost Leendertse from the start-up Water Wheel Green Securities, gives you insight in his innovative strategy about financing commercial rooftops. Joost will present how they want to bridge the gap between sustainable energy development and green investors.
  • Christiane Montavon (Principal Engineer) from DNV GL will talk about the wind farm yield. And elaborates on the blockage effect on wind farm yield, why and how DNV GL included this effect in their energy production assessments (EPAs).

JOIN US
We offer you this platform where various stakeholders with interests in the energy industry will meet and share insights and best practices. We have invited a small and select group of people - for optimal interaction - coming from the finance industry, from utilities and of course project developers.
