We welcome finance experts to join our breakfast session ‘Let’s talk technology’, with discussion and informal networking at restaurant Che Buono in Amsterdam on 31 October 2018, from 08:00 AM to 10:15 AM.
LET’S TALK TECHNOLOGY
The energy transition towards a greener, cleaner and smarter future is changing the game for energy investment. There are new players, new opportunities but also new risks.
For example, how do you go, technically smoothly, through the pre- and post-financial close phase? And how do you ensure that, when everything is operational, you manage your asset in a smart and efficient way? What are critical success factors?
Following previously organized energy breakfast events, in this session DNV GL, with contributions from Eurus Energy, Yard and PMC, will guide you through critical technical aspects when investing in energy infrastructure projects. Of course, there is plenty of room for questions and interaction with experts.
Today we show how technical factors influence the risk profile using three cases in different phases of a project (finance) lifecycle:
- Pre-financial close - PMC (Purified Metal Company) recently celebrated reaching financial close, a great milestone for this innovative concept. Bert Bult – CEO – shares with you PMCs journey to reach financial close and how they did overcome obstacles. [PMC is nominated/ award winner]
- Post-financial close – Yard and Eurus Energy are jointly constructing onshore wind farms. Taichi Katayama (Eurus) and Animesh Ranjan (Yard) elaborates how they face the risks and issues during construction and operation.
- Life Time Extension - Keir Harman from DNV GL will talk about asset management services for owners and investors and how to deal with a subsidy-free environment.
We offer you this platform where various stakeholders with interests in the energy industry will meet and share insights and best practices. We have invited a small and select group of people - for optimal interaction - coming from the finance industry, from utilities and of course project developers. There will be plenty of room for discussion and networking over coffee in a relaxed setting.
Don't hesitate and register for our exclusive breakfast event today! Please register at your earliest convenience, as space is limited. This event is free of charge (we appreciate a notification if you are not able to join after signing in).
