Breakfast seminar at All-Energy Australia 2017

With new wind projects routinely targeting a 25-year design-life and solar projects aiming beyond 30 years, DNV GL will host a detailed session on extended life opportunities and risks. DNV GL published the Lifetime extension of wind turbines international standard in 2016, and has developed tools and probabilistic techniques focused on optimising asset life. 

Presentations will cover approaches for assessing the remaining life of existing wind assets, with a special focus on turbine foundations. This will be followed by an international perspective on achieving long lifetimes for solar assets, and long-term performance expectations, from our Global Solar Segment Director, Raymond Hudson.
