With 2017 set to eclipse records for new solar projects in Australia, DNV GL will discuss critical developments in solar technologies, the latest research on solar resource assessments and reliability testing of components.

Chris Smith will detail advances in Perovskites, Organics and other key developments. Nalini Blacker will then present new findings from a DNV GL research project on Australian solar resource data and introduce DNV GL’s new solar monitoring station.

In the final session Jackson Moore will discuss DNV GL’s Product Qualification Program at DNV GL’s laboratories in California. DNV GL tests solar modules, inverters and batteries to evaluate performance and reliability. Jackson will share experiences from recent test programs and demonstrate the value of testing for mitigation of performance and reliability risks.

The breakfast will take place at 7AM - 8.30AM on Thursday 4 May as part of the Solar Energy Exhibition & Conference 2017.
