Webinar: Offshore fire simulation and structural response analysis

Computational fluid dynamics - Kameleon FireEx - KFX

Learn more about using advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulator to quantify the risk

Fire on offshore installations may lead to threat to structure safety. The concern of fires is reflected in the rules and risk-based design practice. In order to quantify the risk, using advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulator to get the fire load and transfer it to non-linear structural software to carry out structural response analysis is the recommended approach.

Time:

10 March 2021, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM SGT

Join the webinar to learn more about:

  • Using KFX for offshore fire simulation
  • Using Usfos for Non-linear structural response analysis
  • KFX-Usfos interface (Faths) for Fire and heat transfer simulations
  • Case study and live software demonstration

About the presenter:

Mr. Alex Kajuputra is a certified Professional Structural Engineer with extensive 25 years of experience in Oil and Gas, Industrial and Building sectors. He has been working in multinational companies globally like McDermott Asia Pacific, Petronas, KBR etc. He is specialised in structural integrity management system (SIMS), non-linear progressive collapse for offshore fixed structures, fire and blast structural analysis, vessel impact analysis, structural engineering analysis and design for steel structure etc.
