Propeller shaft bearing damages can be costly – in terms of both repairs and unexpected downtime. To minimize the risk of such failures, DNV GL has revised our main class rules for single stern tube bearing installations. In addition, we now offer optional class notations for all vessel types, that can further enhance bearing performance.
In this webinar you can gain an understanding of the characteristics that shape performance and gain a competitive advantage during newbuilding design and bidding, operational phase or purchasing and charter party negotiations for vessels in service.
