DNV GL – Energy: COVID-19 information for customers and relations

UPDATE 16 JULY 2020

ARNHEM, The Netherlands, 28 April 2020

The COVID-19 virus is having an enormous impact on many countries in the world. The crisis is significantly impacting the industries we serve, and we’re committed to working with our customers to minimize the impact and get through it together. Our number one priority is the health and safety of our employees and customers. We are strictly following the necessary measures implemented by local authorities. With this message, I would like to inform our customers and business relations of our activities and measures during this period related to our services so we can ensure business continuity for all parties.

We are doing our utmost to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus and its impact on our people and customers. We have set up crisis teams locally and globally who are monitoring the situation carefully and are implementing relevant measures, including restricting business travel, working from home and monitoring affected colleagues.

We are a global company with brilliant experts in many countries across the world. In these extremely difficult times, we will continue to support our customers with our independent expertise, supported by our robust global IT systems. We are able to undertake most of our services and business interactions, taking into account country-specific measures for health and safety. Our team of experts can be reached via their regular business email address and mobile phone numbers.

For questions about current projects or energy service offerings please contact your local contact person or contact us via contact.energy@dnvgl.com.

I wish all those affected by the coronavirus pandemic a lot of strength to get through this difficult period. We are here to support you.

Kind regards,

Ditlev Engel

We acknowledge that this is a fluid and rapidly evolving situation for all of us and we’re continuing to follow the guidance from the relevant public health authorities of the countries we operate in, as well as the World Health Organization. Our local presence and global reach means we can be flexible to our customer needs and continue supporting them through these difficult circumstances. Taking into account country-specific risk and associated restrictions, we are still able to undertake most of our services and business interaction, supported by our robust global IT set-up. We will stay in contact with customers and stakeholders to find ways to support each other through this difficult time and ensure that we’re doing all we can to minimize the disruption to services and project delivery.”
