The online version of IMO-Vega has been extended with interim and consolidated versions of the regulations amended by MSC 98 in June 2017 and by MEPC 71 in July 2017.
The IMO-Vega database, developed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and DNV GL, puts all the necessary information on safety and pollution prevention requirements applicable to ships at your fingertips. Useful information for our customers:
IMO-Vega has been updated with PDF documents in which the latest amendments have been marked. These PDF files will be available until the next version of IMO-Vega is released in late November, when the PDF documents will be replaced by an updated IMO-Vega database. The intention is to continue with this add-on also for forthcoming releases.
The regulations amended this summer include SOLAS, MARPOL, IGF Code, HSC Code 1994, HSC Code 2000, IMSBC Code, LSA Code and MODU Code 2009. The PDF files can be found under their respective portals in IMO-Vega: SOLAS under SOLAS Consolidated Edition, IGF Code under Mandatory Codes > IGF Code, etc.

The online and offline versions are available on IMO’s website for IMO-Vega, or on www.imo.org for Publications, Webshop/Purchase IMO publications / webshop. Customers can also purchase it from one of the local IMO distributors, they are listed under distributors details. They may also contact IMO publishing at sales@imo.org
We recommend customers of IMO-Vega to use the updated versions (PDF) of the relevant regulations until next version of IMO-Vega is available in end-November 2017.
