Oslo, June 14, 2019 – Jon Fredrik Baksaas has been appointed the Vice Chair of DNV GL’s Board of Directors.
Baksaas started his working career in DNV in 1979 and worked in Norway and Japan until he left DNV in 1985.
He went on to work in Stolt-Nielsen and Aker and topped his executive career with more than 25 years in Telenor – the last 13 as CEO and President until he stepped down in 2015.
Baksaas has served 12 years as a member of the DNV Council. He succeeds Morten Ulstein, who is standing down from the board.
