The DNV GL Partnership with The Guardian Sustainable Business goes live

DNV GL is always on the lookout for new partnerships and opportunities that can communicate how we live our vision, a Global impact for a Safe and Sustainable Future, to a broader audience.

"We want to encourage those interested in how future business will be transformed by sustainability trends to come together on our platform to participate in the conversations. We believe participation adds richness and perspective to the hub on how to rethink prosperity." – Bjørn K Haugland

To this end, we’ve teamed up with Guardian Sustainable Business, an online platform run by the respected UK-based media organization. The Guardian Sustainable Business page is dedicated to covering the social and environmental impacts of business. Their goal is to enhance society’s ability to build a sustainable future.

The homepage is broken down into independent content written by Guardian journalists, opinions and blogs, and feature series. Then there’s a collection of sponsored sustainability hubs, each focusing on different topics - and that’s where we come in.

Today we’re officially launching our partnership: the ‘Rethinking Prosperity’ hub. The top section of the page is completely independent journalistic content, provided by the Guardian team. Further down you’ll find the DNV GL partner zone: our own section where we can articulate and demonstrate what rethinking prosperity means to us and our customers. It will feature some of the actions, innovations and partnerships that the industries we serve are involved in through their day-to-day work, all aimed at creating a safe and sustainable future.

“We look forward to strengthening the partnership with Guardian Sustainable Business,” says project owner Bjørn K Haugland, Executive Vice President  and Chief Sustainability Officer at DNV GL. “This well-recognized communication platform will enable us to reach out to a broader audience and demonstrate specific ideas, projects and initiative where economic growth is decoupled from negative social and environmental impacts.”

We’ll be keeping our content fresh with weekly updates. As well as accessing the page here, you can follow, share and engage with Guardian Sustainable Business content on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. What are your rethinking prosperity ideas? Do you know of a great innovation we could showcase on the hub? Tell us through the DNV GL Sustainability blog
