Challenge

Data system compatibility problems in transferring drawings and design information from engineering house to fabricator.
Misunderstandings between engineering and construction related to designs and drawings cause delays, rework and increased costs

Solution

Replacing 2D drawings with standardized and unified codes for material and design for offshore components and equipment items enabling easy transition of drawings and design information between engineering and fabrication.
