Oil and gas

ProGRAM

Project description

This project is working to develop the necessary requirements to introduce components made through additive manufacturing for oil and gas and related components. The first phase of the project has resulted in the development of a guideline for quality assurance of AM parts. The project is now in its second phase, which aims to mature the document and include new technologies such as binder jetting, LMD, PBF-EB and WAAM integrated with substrate. We will also be looking more in-depth on NDT and corrosion.

Phase two participants:

  • Saudi Aramco
  • Equinor
  • Siemens
  • Kongsberg Maritime
  • Howco
  • IMI CCI
  • Guaranteed
  • FIT additive
  • BMT aerospace
  • Kongsberg Ferrotech
  • Voestalpine
  • Addilan.
