Laboratory accreditation expresses formal confirmation of independence, impartiality and professional competence of the lab to perform specific tasks in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025. It helps you identify and select testing services that guarantee quality, reliability and competence. What’s more, when your products are tested by an accredited laboratory, you can be confident that the test data are accepted in the national and international markets.
KEMA Laboratories Prague, Czech Republic, is accredited by CAI as testing laboratory No. 1035 in accordance with ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005. The Czech national accreditation body CAI (Czech Accreditation Institute) is a member of the ILAC-MRA (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation), IAF (International Accreditation Forum) and EA (European co-operation for Accreditation).

In addition, we are committed to continually improving our health, safety and environmental performance. Our lab management system is implemented and maintained according to EN ISO 14001:2004. We have also implemented and maintain our occupation health and safety management system according to the requirements of OHSAS 18001:2007.
KEMA Laboratories, Prague is active in other organisations connected with testing activities, holding memberships in:
- the Short-Circuit Testing Liaison – STL
- the Czech Testing Laboratories Association - CTLA (with the right to use the STAMP)
- the Czech Association of High-Voltage Laboratories – AZVN
KEMA Laboratories Prague is actively involved in the development of IEC (international) and ČSN (Czech) standards. We also participate in the technical committees of Czech and international organisations in the field of electrical testing.
