Hydrodynamic analysis of ballast tanks
The modelling of FPSOs, semi-submersibles, etc. for hydrodynamic analysis in GeniE provides a feature for automatically detecting all closed compartments. The compartments that correspond to ballast tanks may be partly or fully filled with liquid or solid matters. The hydrodynamic analysis in HydroD will account for these tank fillings both in terms of their masses influencing the motion and in terms of the static and dynamic pressure loads they cause on the tank walls.
