Yes. Communication between ship and shore may be complicated if users on the vessels and users onshore are seeing different views and data. In the ShipManager fleet management software the common user interface and data sharing improves communication, allowing all users to share the same view. For example, shore technicians are able to talk to the crew on a vessel and share the view of a particular piece of equipment used in a planned maintenance job. The shore side will be able to see data from all the vessels in the fleet.
