Energy Transition Outlook - Now available as a report here: https://eto.dnvgl.com/2017/

70% of DNV GL's business is energy related, and understanding the ongoing energy transition is of critical importance to both DNV GL and our customers. That is why we are developing an Energy Transition Outlook: our own independent view of the energy future.

An independent forecast

As an independent voice, DNV GL has a role to play in providing foresight. We have equal footing in both the fossil and renewable industries. We also have deep technical understanding within both fossil and renewable energy, including the entire supply chain from well to socket. We are building or own energy model to provide an independent forecast of the energy future until 2050, looking at energy demand and energy supply, distributed over 10 regions.

Industry Implications

The energy transition is important for our customers, and we will develop Industry Implication outlooks for the Maritime, the Oil & Gas and the Renewable & Power industries. In these outlooks we will go into detail on how the industries and the customer segments will be influenced by the transition. The outlooks will also discuss transition drivers, identify opportunities and provide recommendations.
