Deputy Programme Director
Sverre Alvik is Deputy Director of the Climate Action Programme and heads DNV GL's research on the energy transition.
He has a Master’s degree in Naval Architecture from NTNU in Norway and close to 20 years’ experience working in DNV GL. His main experience is with the Maritime and Energy sectors, where he has worked with strategy and politics, marketing and sales, management, project management and research & innovation, and where he also has written a number of papers and presentations. He currently heads a team of researchers in the Climate Change Programme, focusing on modelling the energy transition and how it will impact DNV GL, our industries and customers.
