Elected safety representatives development training program

DNV is running a series of courses in the UK that have been developed for the Elected Safety Representatives Development Training program and accredited by OPITO.

There are four units in total, each focusing on different aspects of Safety Representative activities;

Delegates can choose which units they would like to attend. The courses are delivered by experienced practitioners using a range of training methods which will ensure maximum retention of topics covered in each course.

Upon completion of each unit, delegates will be awarded with an OPITO approved Elected Safety Representatives Development Training course certificate.

Please note the attendance on this programme is open to learners who are in possession of an Offshore Safety Representative Initial Training Certificate, and be up to date with current safety legislation, either through recent attendance on the OPITO approved OSR Training course 7080 or 7085. Furthermore, the content of Units 1 & 2 are closely linked Learners attending Unit 2 are expected to have an existing understanding of major accident hazards, either by having completed Unit 1, or by having completed similar training.
