Course description

The DNV-OS-F101 standard forms a basis for the designing activity, and the pipeline standard with its complete design width is covered in this course. First day will focus on codes, design flow and the safety philosophy of DNV-OS-F101. The second day includes detailed wall thickness calcuation. The third day will give an overview of other scenarios and failure modes relevant for pipeline design.

The use of the supporting DNV-OS-F101 design software is also part of the training. Associated Recommended Practices and the upcoming revision of the DNV-OS-F101 is also addressed.
