Course description

A 2-day classroom course that is intended for personnel who may have a role related to onshore gas pipelines. The training will give you an overview of all the aspects of a pipeline life cycle.
The participants will get an overview of pipeline applications, ranging from design basis through construction and further to integrity management of the transmission and distribution networks that is bringing gas to consumers and industrial users.

Result

Upon completion of this course the delegates will have obtained an overview of the most important technology concepts, systems and terminology in the following areas: Pipeline design, construction, operation, integrity management and abandonment of pipeline systems. The delegates familiarize themselves with the concept of risk assessments and the main damage causes and mechanisms.
