The global 0.50% sulphur cap will enter into force in 2020, and more than 70,000 ships will be affected by the regulation. Stricter limits on sulphur (SOx) emissions are already in place in Emission Control Areas (ECAs) in Europe and the Americas, and new control areas are being established in ports and coastal areas in China.

It offers remote verification based on various pieces of evidence provided by the customer, which demonstrate that tank cleaning has been executed and documented according to the regulations and best practice. The statement can be used in communication with authorities and commercial stakeholders to document a well-executed process.
This service supports you to satisfying the requirements according to MEPC.1/Circ.878 Appendix 3 modifications and tank cleaning. It is neither a class nor a statutory service.
