Webinar: Coupled analysis for floating offshore wind turbines
Learn how to perform a complete structural analysis for floating wind platforms with Sesam software
Sesam for offshore wind
Floating offshore wind turbines can significantly expand the area for wind energy development as they can be used in deeper water compared to fixed structures. With functionality in Sesam software from DNV GL it is possible to perform a complete structural analysis of support structures for floating wind platforms, including the coupling effect of loads from the waves, the wind turbine and the mooring lines.
Topics covered in the webinar:
How to perform a coupled analysis of a floating wind turbine including radiation/diffraction effects
How to utilize results from the coupled analysis in the structural analysis of the floater
Demonstration of the analysis workflow
