APQP4Wind Specialist Training

The objective of the APQP4Wind Specialist Training is to give the participants a basic understanding of the APQP4Wind process, introduce the framework, the requirements and the tools. In addition to train and to understand how to use and apply the tools in practice.

  • Understand systematic risk assessment 
  • Facilitate FMEA processes 
  • Use RPN scales and critical characteristic 
Capability
  • Understand use and benefits of capability studies 
  • Conduct SPC 
  • Understand the results 
  • Communicate the results and conclusions 
The MSA process
  • Conduct MSA 
  • Conduct SPC 
  • Understand the results 
  • Communicate the results and conclusions 
Review and approval 
  • Understand and evaluate results 
  • Report and communicate results 
  • Understand and sign PSW 

Course details 

  • The training is interactive with combinations of lectures, workshop and practical exercises. The training is finalized with ½ hour multiple choice test after each module 
  • Training Certificate is issued to all participants passing the test. Training certificate is valid for 4 years. 
  • Experienced trainers with vast experience within the wind industry 
  • Course duration is 4 days (28 hours excl. meals and breaks) 
  • Special arrangements are available for delivery at your organization’s premises 
  • Refresher Training can be attended from 6 months before and up to a maximum of 3 months after the expiration date stated on the certificate. If a participant wishes to renew their certificate more than 3 months after their current certificate has expired, they must sign up for a full Specialist Training course instead.
